Prof. Halil Ibrahim Gurcan, Anadolu University, Turkey
In 1988, he started to work in Anadolu University as a research assistant. In 1992, he completed master’s degree in the University of Stirling at Scotland. He got doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in communication studies at Anadolu University in 1996. He became an associated professor in 1999 and professor in 2004. He is the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Anadolu University, at this moment. Professor Gurcan has written five books, 30 articles and 25 presentation at international and national symposiums and conferences. His studying topics are online journalism, internet publishing, publishing technologies and distance learning technologies.
